Beautiful beach weddings are the ideal way to celebrate an intimate wedding. Whether it's just the two of you or a small group of friends and family members, the beach is breath taking, peaceful and romantic. However there are a few things to remember when saying your "I DO's" on the beach.
1. Location.
Preview your location before the wedding. If you can visit the beach site on the same day of the week and same time of day you would like your nuptials to take place, that would be excellent. Look around to see how many people visit the beach site? Does this beach have sporting events like Volleyball nets? How assessable is parking?
2. Time of wedding.
If you are planning to take photo's on the beach, this is important question. What time of day is the best lighting for your photo's. This will depend on the season. Will your wedding be in the spring, summer or fall? Suncal.net is available to help. Also, check the tide. Will the ocean be high tide or low tide during a particular time you plan to have your wedding? https://www.tide-forecast.com/
3. Shoes optional.
If you plan on wearing shoes during your wedding on the beach. Make certain your shoes will withstand the water, if the ocean should unexpectedly, come up to your feet. If you plan not to wear shoes, have a pair of flip flops available just in case the sand is scorching hot.
